Community Service

Community service provides students with a program which will grow with them from entry in the sixth grade through graduation. Students participate as follows:

6th & 7th Grades: Students are given the opportunity to participate in canned food drives, the Special Olympics, and activities during the academic year. Students take an orientaion trip in the spring to see a variety of service agencies. (10 hours)

8th Grade: Students participate in community service projects which give them practical experience. (10 hours)

9th through 12th Grades: Students begin individual service projects and are given additional opportunities for leadership. (30, 30, 30 and 10 hours)
