Message Board Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Brief answers to some of the questions you may have about this message board

On this message board you may submit messages through the online form which uses conferencing software to post your text and sorts them by subject. All those with access to this class can start a discussion on a new subject or reply to something previously written.

How do I post a message?

To post a message on this message board you must put information into the following boxes on this form:

Once this information is entered, click once on the "Post Message" button on the bottom of the page. You may use the "Reset" button to clear the text you entered into the form before you post your message.

The other boxes on this form may be used to place a clickable link in your message (the "Link Title" will be the text the readers click to go to your linked page) and images in your messages. Please note that images must be online to be viewed in your message.

Why didn't my post show up?

Your post most likely did show up and can be seen by other users of this message board. Because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload your browser (typically the F5 key) and it should then appear.

Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?

Colons appear in the message dialog box when you follow-up up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document.

Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?

No. You can not use HTML tags in any field except body of the message.
