Queen Anne School reaches beyond its campus into the community by offering our full curriculum of academic classes in the virtual world of the Internet. This expands the Queen Anne teaching mission to share and communicate information to those who are unable to be physically present for a day of scheduled classes. Since we recognize the many and varied options parents have in directing their child’s education, we wanted to provide the maximum flexibility for parents to determine their child’s curriculum. Our virtual campus offers a wide variety of courses available to distance learners with courses ranging from basic study skills/grammar to Calculus, from US Government to Genetics. Our comprehensive web-based educational system is designed to offer courses to those students who, for whatever reason, choose alternatives to traditional brick and mortar institutions. Our online environment consists of coursework and interactive discussion rooms, giving both content and real time connectivity with their teacher. Our courses reflect the high standards that have come to exemplify Queen Anne School.
Blending course work with extra-curricular activities, Queen Anne School is excited to debut - the Associate Student - offering our online community an option that realizes the benefits of an online environment while at the same time allowing direct participation in our Queen Anne School Community.
Following acceptance and admission to our Virtual Campus, a Queen Anne School Associate Student can participate in sports, clubs, proms and other social events on campus, while also taking advantage of Queen Anne School’s excellent academic standards.
